The terms, in plain English.

What you get.

Open: a real website at its own address, built from your answers, with a page for every service you do, changes made by typing a sentence, every lead your site catches emailed to you and listed in My Business, Call It In (a job you say from the truck goes on your site, with the review ask on your phone and a thank-you card to print), My Business on your phone's home screen, the On Google list of what search engines can read about you, and a real person at 412 Ads to ask.

What it costs, and when we charge.

$149 a month for Open, with no setup fee and no contract. Building it and claiming your address cost nothing: your card is charged for the first month the day you press Put it live, and your monthly rate is the same amount on that same date every month until you cancel. If we ever change the price we email you 30 days before it happens, and it never changes the rate you are already on. When a discount code ends we email you 30 days before, or the day after you sign up if it ends sooner.

Answered, and your minutes.

If you have Answered, your monthly price includes 750 minutes of calls answered by Penny, the voice that answers your line. Minutes over 750 are 35¢ each — about $1 for a normal call — and appear as a separate line on your next invoice for what you used that month. This is not a change to your price: your monthly rate is the rate you signed up on. We never stop answering your phone, over your minutes or not. Your first month is never charged for extra minutes — the rest of the month you sign up in, and the first full month after it. We email you when you reach 600 minutes, again the moment extra minutes begin, and again at the start of the month with every call listed, at least three days before it can appear on an invoice. Every call, its date and its length is on your Billing tab under Minutes — if a line looks wrong, tell us and we take it off while we check.

Who you are buying from.

Cancel any time.

Open the Billing tab in My Business, press Manage billing, and cancel there. No phone call, no notice period, no cancellation fee. You keep the site for the month you have already paid for.

What happens when you stop.

Your site comes off the web and we ask Google and the rest to drop it. When you stop, we keep everything for 12 months: your words, your photos and your facts stay exactly where they are, and if you start paying again in that time the site comes back the way you left it.

Refunds.

Your first month back within 7 days if you are not happy, no questions asked — email or call, and we close the site and refund it. After that: no part-month refunds, and cancelling stops the next charge. The Refunds page says it in full.

How long we keep your things.

For as long as your site is open, and for 12 months after you cancel so you can come back to it. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

Your words and photos stay yours.

You own everything you give us. You are giving us permission to publish it on your site and keep a copy while you are with us — nothing more. We may show your finished site as an example of our work; tell us not to and we will not.

What you cannot use it for.

No illegal service, and no pretending to be a business or a person you are not — no license number you do not hold, no name you have no right to use. Some web addresses are reserved by the system and cannot be yours. If a site breaks this we can take it down, and we tell you why.

Nothing on your site is invented.

Every price, hour and claim on your site is something you told us. That cuts both ways: the facts you give us have to be true, and they are your responsibility.

Your domain name.

A domain we register for you is registered in our account on your behalf, its renewal is part of your plan while you are a customer, and it is transferred to you on request within 14 days — except that no domain can change companies in its first 60 days, so inside that window we hold it, keep it paid, point it nowhere else, and move it the day the lock lifts. A domain you already own stays yours throughout; connecting it gives us nothing but the right to show your site on it.

Stay Slammed lead alerts.

Stay Slammed lead alerts is a text-message program run by 412 Ads. If you tick "Text me when a lead lands" in My Business, we text the mobile number you gave us once for each lead your website catches: who got in touch, their number and the first line of what they wrote. Every text starts "Stay Slammed:". These are alerts to you, the business owner — never marketing, and we never text your customers. 412 Ads uses the same alerts for its own business: when Penny, our phone answering, picks up 412 Ads' own line, 412's owner gets a text with the caller's name, number, and what they need. Ticking the box is up to you; everything else works without it.

How often, and what it costs.

Message frequency varies: one text per lead, so how many you get depends on how much business comes in, and a week with no leads brings no texts. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help.

Reply STOP to any of our texts and they stop: you get one text saying so, and nothing after it. Reply START to have them back. You can also untick the box in My Business at any time. For help, reply HELP, email dave@412ads.com or call (412) 444-7363.

Carriers, and your number.

Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. Your number is covered by our Privacy Policy at stayslammed.com/mainstay/privacy. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

What we do not promise.

We cannot promise the site is never down, that Google ranks you, or that the phone rings. Some of it is not ours to control — Google, Stripe, the phone carriers, the internet itself. If something does go wrong and it is our fault, what we owe you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it happened, and neither of us is on the hook for the other's lost profit or lost work.

If we change these terms.

We email you before a change that matters and put the new date at the top of this page. Carrying on with the site after that is how you accept it. If you would rather not, cancel, and we keep your things for 12 months so you can come back.

Which law applies.

Pennsylvania law, and the courts of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. If one line in here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of it still stands.
